Not only that I respect his opinion he hasn't been extremely disrespectful and he's able to joke and take jokes.

That is true..sometimes being passionate about something can lead to ranting..and no matter how persuasive the argument is or how logical it is..it loses all its meaning and effectiveness..

The pay gap benefiting males is a proving myth fkn accept it lol. Where I work all the powerful positions are taken up by females and 60% have no fkn clue what they're doing. But that's sexist to state facts.
A bitch cried her way to a promotion at my job lol she complained only 2 guys were in the top group (keep in mind these 2 were the best at the job) she went absolutely shitttttt they put her back in original position and she cried and carried on again in front of everyone and they promoted her again.
But yes females have it soooo fkn hard in the work force.

Where did I say females have it soooo fkn hard in the work force? That's not even the argument.... the argument is that at the top end in positions with high end negotiable salaries, female executives earn less on average than men....

I'm not digging for links... it's not really my area of expertise... but I have seen articles and statistics that support that basic position and I think it is basically true. That's not to say for a minute that women are underrepresented in all industries or that workplace gender dynamics these days are not complex....

I'm not saying some good workers aren't unfairly disadvantaged by quota systems either.... although I do think these situations are unfortunately usually a product of reactive and outdated workplace cultures that have been too slow to embrace diversity in the first place. Companies and industries that were more proactive initially and embraced diversity don't generally have to fall back on quota systems.

But this argument could go round in circles for days. I'll leave it to Eeeeee. He's the one who made the initial point and I'm getting pins and needles from typing too much on my phone. I only really wanted to raise the issue of the fact I think your tone is vounter productive.... I don't really want to get into complex arguments about gender issues... And your final example was the rogue one movie. Look you dont know the reasons she was paid more, all youve provided is a baseless accusation that it's because shes a woman. Lets say ok she got paid more because shes a woman, but that still will not make a significant mark on the trend of male actors being paid more than there female counterparts. However thats flawed theory as well (this time a flawed theory in favour of showing women get paid less) because box office revenue, actor/actress drawcard ability, etc etc there are many factors that need to be taken, in the film industry, when comparing pays. So a simplistic statement of "the rogue one actress got paid more" is not a proper analysis of the situation
