Sad fact: Any d*ckhead can buy a jersey and PRETEND to be a Bulldogs Supporter.
Reality: Buying a Bulldogs jersey and acting like a d*ckhead does NOT make you a Bulldogs supporter, it makes you a bandwagonner.

Might sound like a dumb idea, but maybe the club need to hire our Private Investigators to catch the trains back from games, and record/report any issues they capture.

Here is a number for security concerns / complaints from Cityrail to report the problems: 1800 657 926

I hope if enough people report it, they will be dealt with hastily.

I would also recommend contacting the club, they need to know about these idiots.

It's probably due to that (being non members) and other measures that make them hard to identify (or for that matter they are under 18) that makes them muck up more.

It's hard for the club to ban them from ANZ if they can't get a positive ID, and even then it's difficult. Sure you could do stuff like demand photo ID when buying/picking up tickets (for non members), but even that has it's issues.

Maybe the club need like a "dob in a d*ckhead" page. Troublemakers get their photos posted up on a page, and for a positive ID of the idiot in question, the person who ID's them gets .. hmm .. I dunno .. 50% off merch, or something free from the Bulldogs. That would lead to people who know these idiots dobbing them in if they are true fans.

It happens EVERY Bulldogs-Eels game. Do you people need to be reminded every time the Dogs and Eels verse eachother?

They're all 15 year old kids who like to grow a head in front of their peers.

It's been happening since the late 90s. It made the news during that period. After all these years you would think there would be extra coppers for every carriage to and from the game.

Sucks it had to be you there. I suggest other modes of transport to Dogs-Eels games.

They need to expand the P.O.R.S(riot squad) and have them roam like a gestapo strike force using heavy handed tactics to dimwits who deserve it.Australia is a beautiful country but the judicial system has failed law enforcement by not sending a clear message that if you comit a crime you will do the time.Civil libertarians are also guilty of watering down police powers to do what is required by drowning them with loads of paperwork after each arrest or use of force incident.Countries like Singapore have it right to the point that women can travel alone at night in safety, as crims know they will be dealt with accordingly and the cops will give you a beating(to a point) and they won't be investigated.Sadly a comonsense approach is not so common.
LOL this isn't the Taliban champ.

They're a bunch of little skinny-**** kids with an ego.

An increase in coppers will take care of these brats. Yet they never put enough coppers on trains.

There are dickhead supporters in every team, get the fu*k over it. After every game someone makes a thread about it.

Not defending the pricks but just sick of hearing about it
You're right. Let's just pretend it doesn't happen

It's not limited to Bulldog supporters. As a society, we aren't doing too well. Clearly there's a lot of angry young people out there. But, yes, increased police presence is the short-term answer. Unfortunately, state governments occupy themselves with finding ways to cut costs. We either aren't paying enough tax, or governments of all persuasions are simply incompetent.

FMD some of you need to get out of your bubble and wake up and smell the coffee!
Yes, every team has a element of d*ckheads, but no club comes close to our club in this department.
Some of you need to stop playing the victim card and take things into perspective. People target our club in relation to crowd behaviour for a good reason, there is a LARGE element of scum supporters (not a minority) who turn up week in week out and terrorise opposition fans and our own fans alike.
Whether you like it or not if they are wearing a dogs jersey they are our fans.
For every decent Bulldogs fan out there, there are 10 of these d*ckheads out there giving us all a bad name.
Not trying to start a race war, but 99% of these d*ckheads are of middle eastern appearance whether you like it or not.
The low light for me last night was watching a group of about 20 or 30 of these idiots absolutely giving it to the police and security guards last night for no reason what so ever.
For anyone that knows me I'm as passionate as they come about the Bulldogs but these idiots make me feel ashamed to support our great club.

our club has got a ""reputation" of one that where you go to a game you will be in a fight or something will happen to you. We have gotten this label from the kids who act all good in front of their parents and the parents believe that they will behave but as soon as they are with their friends they
think they are untouchable and above the law. If you look at the crowd behind the goal posts (the left hand side ones if you were to run out of the tunnel)
most of the "fans" there are all kids in groups. Didnt anyone else see last home game i can't remember who against but there was a fight in the crowd with kids and all the security rushed there this is just an example of this. All these kids are wreaking the name that the club has made for itself as being a family club. btw im 15 years old

This occurs every home game.. But I do remember something similar to what you described, I was up in Sydney for the Knights game, that was my wifes first NRL game, you can imagine her perception of half the bulldogs fans now.
Worst part of it was, they were all young dogs supporters fighting amongst each other.. I'd be happy to have some kind of rule implemented where minors have to be escorted by an adult to games. Regardless of public backlash, this is the only way to stop the reputation of our great club being ruined by these young kids who become consumed by crowd mentality and have this idea they are untouchable in groups.

Some one hit the nail on the head and said this has been occuring since the 90's. This is correct and can be attributed to Bob Carr for introducing a great piece of legislation called the young offenders act. This AIM of this legislation is.....An Act to establish procedures for dealing with children who commit certain offences through the use of youth justice conferences, cautions and warnings instead of court proceedings; and for other purposes. It's basically the softly softly approach to juvenille crime. I've been on a train where in the next carriage the little ****s in Bulldogs jerseys have knocked out all the lights, and the police were unable to do a thing due to not seeing them and a couple of other factors such as this legislation. When they catch them for minor offences such as anti social behavour and offences against property, the police have to apply this legislation and give them cautions. The only way to change things is to repeal this legislation and reintroduce the summary offences act.

Sorry I forgot the correct number for reporting minor crime on trains is 93794444.
Also complain to your state member of parliment Chris as good old Barry is the one who has taken security off trains and replaced them with overworked and understaffed Police.

But you seem a responsible and intelligent 15 year old, not a bone-headed dropkick like the idiots being discussed in this thread, and therein lies the difference :grinning:

I'm going to pull out a term I heard a customer of mine use recently and loved because it describes these morons accurately.

I totally get what you're saying and I agree with having extra cops on trains but the intimidation factor from the appearance of members from the OSG or PORS will send fear into these brats. These wanabees obviously come from homes where parenting has failed and sadly the stiff arm of the law needs to instill the respect that should have been taught at the dinner table.Members from these specialist squads just do things "slightly" different from their sky blue shirt colleagues.Yes these brats are just kids but eventually they will be adults and if they aren't taught respect and manners before they're 18yo, a lot just get worst.Personally it wouldn't hurt to let some these wanabe tough guys experience a tasering if required. They will eventually recover from it but the lesson learnt will be lasting when they're in agony and realise that the person squealing like a b!tch in the background was them all along.LOL other than the taliban part your points are valid. This problem as stated isn't limited to post footy games but this is just my strong opinion on how criminal, hooligan/anti social behaviour should be dealt with across the board.

Last night's win was soured by my trip home on the train. The behaviour of our Bulldog fans made me sick to the core. They violently banged their fists and feet on the carriage panels, windows and doors. They ran up and down the aisles, pushing and shoving into passengers. Their language was obscene and foul - and broadcast at shouting level in a continuous, roaring din.

At no stage was their any excited talk about the game, just excitement over a fight, and the aggressive nature of their "fun". These were people looking for trouble.
And I'm not talking about a handful of thugs - I'm talking a trainload. Innocent passengers were terrified by the disgusting behaviour.

When I wear the Blue and White, I can't help but feel that I am seen in the same light as the thugs I wintness every time I travel to Olympic Park by train. It's enough to have me thinking that I shouldn't renew my membership next year. I can't take it any longer.
Sad isn't it?? just to give up on train travel to the game is pretty easy to do and if it is that bad I guess car will be the way to go however if I was you I would send a nice letter email off to the CBBFC CEO and let him know of the crap that goes on in the trains by giving dates and times etc etc I am sure that TG would be delighted to pass on this information to the police.
Some scum bags just spoil it all for everyone!!!

I was coming home through Parra on the train on Friday night before the game.

Should have seen the kids then, too. Terrorising the f*ck out of regular commuters who were just going home from work. Smashing doors & windows, swearing at every Tom, Dick & Hazem, running up and down stairs and back around bumping in to people etc.

I was just waiting for them to approach myself or the two girls sitting next to me.

It's always the same type. Anyone who says this is a "minority" is kidding themselves and in denial. They give our club and their culture a bad name, but unfortunately there are too many of them around to ever be stopped.
