Hayne is a great attacking back either at wing or fullback and would be a top asset if he was focused on the club.

However, it looks as though Hayne's agenda is about how much he can get out of what ever code he plays not what he can put in.

So the answer is: NO!!

Hayne has left NFL. Facts are he has failed at NFL. Only won 1 origin and only really been in one grandfinal. Has not made the top 8 for years. He also headbutt Corey Payne years ago.
He also invented that stupid Hayne plane and Hayne train. Has also been out of league for 18months.

Other side of the coin is he is a great fullback which has the ability to turn a game on its head. Has an incredible amount of natural ability and is a natural fullback.

So would you have him at the dogs?

I'll answer hell yeah!
Not sure I'm with you there Mr Vip.

Even if we had the cap space, he doesn't address any weakness of ours. Certainly he's an improvement on Hoppa, but I'm not sure if he would win us more games by playing fullback. This is true for all the teams in the top 4.

On this basis my answer is no.

Happy to hear your thoughts??

He would never bleed blue and white.... He's a eel at heart ,our oldest foe
We don't want him,he not cut out to be a dog and doesn't make the cut, fuck off back to parra or typically the rooters, rather lose games then have players that will never be a true dog

When Hayne left, he said he has done all he can be done in NRL. From memory, he's won 1 origin.. Was he in a World Cup winning side? A premiership winning side? Will be be remembered as an immortal? The last point is debatable.. But you all catch my drift.

They just released RTS, Maloney and Jennings? Doesn't that warrant them spending some cash? I get it we all don't like the Roosters, but let's not be stupid.
Lol so like every other team that finds ways around the cap, you think think the roosters have been squeaky clean with the the sqauds they have have since 99 .
You really think sbw went there on a " handshake " deal

Lets look at the facts. Hayne is a specialist fullback.
Since Barba we have had a winger play fullback(Perrett), then we signed another winger to play fullback(Morris) and then we had a center play fullback(Hoppa) who doesn't work sundays. So now we have a winger(Perrett) playing full again.

We have no seen a specialist fullback backing up the forwards or feeding the ball to the backs for a very long time.

Our biggest weakness is attack and i thing he does tick the box for having decent attack. He played in a shit team and was a star. Every team has at least 1 star signing...we have none.

I'd say Brett Morris, James Graham are star's to most other clubs.

I'd also say I'd love to get Hayne.

Those saying Roosters have lost Maloney, Jennings and RTS.

Let's break that down for a second RTS left them for big bucks, he wasn't on them there. This contract was the first big deal he has got, just because he got big money elsewhere doesn't help their cap.

Maloney sure would of been on 400k or so at Roosters from when he left Warriors. Is reported he left to Sharks for around 500-600k. That said Hastings sure as shit won't stay on minimum will he. Plus they added Nikarima.

Jennings was reportedly being paid a large chunk of his current contract by the previous club. It was only this year Roosters were responsible for all his pay.

They shipped him off.

Obviously they would have a few hundred thousand there, that said I'd imagine several guys like Tuikaohoea or whatever, Napa, Evans etc aren't staying for love.

Throw in the JBurgess they signed who was meant to be a gun and Fingerson's massive pay increase from bare minimum...

Not saying they won't find a way or tap a few shoulders though the whole they lose quality players doesn't mean they are under. It means the cap caught up and the sweet deals on clubs paying most of Jennings etc are over for now.

Most fans would of been ordering an investigation to the Roostes if they somehow upgraded fingerson from minimum to big bucks, re-signed and upgraded RTS, Tupou, SKD, Maloney, JWH, Friend, Cordner, Guerra, Napa, Evans, Jennings, Pearce, Aubbo, Tuikaohoea, Moa etc. Considering some of these guys were on peanuts and want massive upgrades.

E.G when we lost Idris, Myles, Asotasi etc and we simply couldn't compete with the money others offered.

In a heartbeat I would have him . In fact we may be a chance of signing him as he has never won an NRL Premiership

I don't get how hayne is seen as the ultimate fullback..How many tries would he have let in ?

Parra were spooners for almost as long as he was there.. I don't get it.

In a one word response Hell no

I dont think he'll come back to the NRL, at least not for a while. He'll try Rugby and if he's shit at it he'll run back to league like Sam Burgess and Benji Marshall.
