The lipoma is about the size of an orange, or larger. It will require 2-3 days in hospital, and maybe 6 weeks or so recovery. Too big for a GP job. I had it looked at by a professor at Sydney Adventist Hospital, about 4 years ago. But in the meantime, the cancer battles have prevented having it done, due to low immunity and high risk of infection.@Bulldog Wrestler
Sad to read about your other health issues.
Re your heart murmur, it may have been caused by the low iron. I have low iron, but I don't take tablets as that interferes with my heart medication.
Re the lipoma how big is it.
A general practitioner (GP) can perform surgical removal of a lipoma at their practice. However, they may also refer a patient to a surgical specialist.
Great news about CML Leukemia and Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
With the murmur, a couple of years ago, as part of the chemo risk assessment, I had the heart checked. At the time, there was some minor issue, not of concern. I can't remember what, but the very slight thickening of something, from memory. The doctor reckons that could the cause of the murmur. But wants to check to be sure.
