For sure. So glad the team has come good for all you guys who def wouldn't object to to some ling awaited footy success.

Make sure you keep us updated on lil' Assassin also....we've been following his progress all these years :grinning:
Will do.

He has moved to Blacktown City now (Penrith comp) and training the house down thank God. He understands U13s is when it becomes serious.

This was my 36th biopsy in 13 years, average is about 15 in 13 years. So she couldn't go in the usual spot because of scar tissue and had to go higher up my neck.

It was a disaster and now the local has worn off I'm in pain and can't move my neck. Wasn't the worst session, only needed 2 stitches and this time the gave me a local when stitching me up lol

Should be ok in a few days.

Thanks for asking sis.
If I didn't know better I'd say they were taking cells to clone you to create super soldiers or something. Otherwise they're cannibals and have developed a taste for your flesh.

But seriously I had a cancer scare a few months back. I kept it to myself and couldn't help compiling a bucket list. I think I coped pretty well, but it was only for a month or so. I don't know how tough the mental side of 13 years of tests and biopsies would be.

Gives you a dose of fragility hey a scare like that... but those dealing with day to day hassles and health worries have our deepfelt respect.

They would be super sarcastic soldiers who swear like mofos lol

A scare is a scare bro, so happy you got through it. Love hearing people overcoming serious issues, it fires me up.

Not to sound like a preacher, but my faith in Jesus Christ calms me and makes me feel bulletproof.

I'm still waiting for the hospital to call me in to biopsy one of my lymph nodes to see what the issue with them is. But my main worry subsided when the doc told me there were no indicators of cancer aside from the lymph nodes. Actually gave me a bit of a kick up the ass when I'd been feeling a bit sorry for myself for a while.

I wish I had the same faith. I wouldn't say I'm an atheist. But I just look at a lot of things in the world and can't help but question things.

Subduing your worries is one of the best things you can do for yourself bro, that's half the battle. I used to be my own worst enemy with stress/worry. I'd do my own head in.

My strength is Jesus Christ, find your strength whatever/whoever it is. Like one of my atheist professor said to me, "whatever works for you, more power to you".

I wish you all the best and will pray for you and goes without saying, we are all here in your corner cheering you on bro.

@Bulldog Wrestler you have a sitrep, soldier?
I see the Gastroenterologist towards the end of the month, to investigate the low Iron, in relation to possible internal bleeding.

I see the Haematologist end of March, for the usual check on the two cancers. Blood test. Been sweating a lot, so hoping the Lymphoma isn't returning - hopefully just the weather.

Still waiting to hear from the heart specialist about an ultrasound to check out the heart murmur.

The Iron tablets are causing stomach pain and other issues. I'm going to try a different one.

Been feeling quite wonky and the heat and humidity been knocking me about too

I'm anxious to get the heart murmur cleared as I'd like to get involved in a few things, but not sure how much to risk physically, till I know more.

Thanks for asking, all my prayers and best wishes to you as well.

@ASSASSIN

How were the test results.
Can you believe I'm still waiting?

The missus called them to rip in and all they said is "we will call you when we get them".

They rush me in to use my private health cover and once they get their money they don't give a fuck.

St Vincent's has really become a shithole over the years, they only worry about the private section and their elective surgeries, more money for their greedy arses.

PS the private section is just basically a hotel. All ops and procedures are done in the public section.
