Not a patch on A380 Business Class with Singapore Air. Much more space and comfort, plus the brilliant service.
Yeah this product is more than 10 years old now and the base design almost 20 years old, which in airline terms is generally about the time they get refreshed. The new A380 seats (which were fitted to 6 of the 12 just as they were taken out of service when The Rona bit) are superior to the Skybed. Constant challenges - the design freeze for these seats was late 2005 for a 2008 delivery and the USB port was low power which subsequently couldn’t even charge an iPhone which came along in 2007 and had to be retrofitted to the seat by 2010 due to demand. It’s an expensive business keeping the hard product up to date and attractive to fare paying passengers who have choice.

Forgive me for Being ignorant. I had to click on this thread to find out what an Aerosexual was? I think I know now
Who would even think of making up a word like Aerosexual,I know aye
The only rules are don’t mention any old bus or rail trips.
Indian Pacific is exempted ( loved the buffet carriage )

Swissair's business class had a massage option on their otherwise very comfortable beds. I tried it, but it felt a bit weird.

Guilty re: snoring. Maybe. Just putting up my hand :-).

Those doonas did soften it for sure.

Yeah, I’m wary how much I drink inflight, it can bite you on the arse. Speaking of arriving fresh, I loved the B787 LHR-PER non-stop so I reckon I’ll be a fan of Sunrise too - getting into the US East Coast without stopping will be sweet. Nah, no travel this year - my last trip was to Dallas in Feb ‘20 just before the Rona bit, so it’ll be two years between passport stamps methinks :(. Been some good family time but also keen to get back on the road ASAP.
I’m also keen on these direct flights from Australia, nothing better than just reaching the destination in one hit.
My last trip was a five week holiday throughout Europe in August 2019.
In all honesty it’s nice being on vacation but at the moment my thoughts are getting through this Covid best we can and keeping everyone healthy.
No doubt things will be a lot better next year.
Just keep that passport handy and Covid Certificate nearby
