This kid will be a fucking terrible signing IMO he has dominated through juniors because he is three times bigger and stronger than any other **** on the field, but is completely untested playing against men week in and week out, can't believe these clubs are throwing around the money they are for an unproven 17 year old kid with zero NRL Expreience. I am glad he is no chance of coming here.

Bold statement. Let's rehash this in 2022 (if we're both still here)?

Didn't think the Roosters saw things in a quid pro quo kinda way. If so, when are we going to get something coming back our way for Mason, O'Meley, SBW, Anasta, Nate Myles?

And given all of the above played Origin or better while at the Dogs, Flanagan hardly counts...
Sam perret lol so we even now

Word is Teddy is becoming increasingly pissed off with his contract negotiations dragging out.....and he blames the Sualli situation. I wonder if the Roosters will release him.

The amount of hype about this kid means you know he will fail big time

Well if they're seriously chasing Sualli, then it doesn't look great for Teddy's long term prospects there.

Typical Roosters.. Sign for less with us, help us win two comps and then we'll lowball you on your next deal and move you on for someone else.

Yep...that's the Roosters in a nutshell. Seriously, players must be starting to think long and hard before they sign with this mob. Not satisfied with having the best League player in the world, they also want the future best player in the world (supposedly) lol.

If they lose Tedesco over this though it may go down as the dumbest recruitment decision in history.

So reports are he committed to roosters for a lot less then his Souths contract  and he has a get out clause to pursue a rugby deal if it comes up. And he gets tedescos spot when he retires (isn’t teddy still under 28? :p)

makes sense to me:tongueclosed:

These overhyped big money signings of teenagers rarely work out well. He's still got plenty of time to establish himself, but it was crazy for the Roosters to pay 500-600k for him.

still early... SBW suffered a season ending shoulder(?) injury in 2003 and so, his FG debut was delayed until 2004

He's been good in the glimpses we've seen. They still have a better recruitment strategy than us, we try to turn grinders into superstars

Hes been ok, but hasn't yet justified the hype.

Definitely not justified the hype, nor the price tag but time will tell. It's always the case with things like this, the media is generally to blame along with player managers as thats how both sell papers and then get a bigger pay day
