I've partied with the best and will still give it a go today. Yet, I manage my shit. I once worked with a seriously high performing chick who was amazing but shot up Henry on weekends for giggles. Fair play. She managed her shit.

Did JAC ever actively consider or try to get off the white and fail? Probably not. So by definition, cannot say he's an addict. He didn't manage his shit.

He should’ve went to rehab. And not made GUS look like an idiot they had no choice it the standards too there setting there now.
No doubt he was good but maybe he was addicted to cocaine when he was injured he wouldve got on it and probably go addicted like I said I was a addict but seeked help for a better life no shame in that and no shame in admitting it either 10 years sober couldn’t feel better.. and definitely wouldn’t be the person I am
Now I still battle but there there is always help!!

Not sure about QLD, but in NSW… the state I live in, teachers are only required to report charges leading to serious … aka charges deemed worthy of a 12 months prison sentence.

So once again, highly unlikely I’d ever find out about it. any you know what, what they to in their free time really wouldn’t be my business anyway..

Gus made himself look like an idiot by tweeting out incorrect info. Any other administrator would have declined to comment until an investigation had been carried out. Why shouldn’t Gus be accountable for his own stupid actions?

That’s just what I see and what I know from my own experiences from addiction and working with addicts. I hope I’m wrong but apparently I also found out it was a big part of why Souths and the Tigpies moved him on too

Sad that it had to come to this, but the Club would have set an example had it retained Josh, then be bound to retain any player guilty of misconduct in the future. We had enough kickback and bad feelings over our training methods last year.

To go back on those standards would be weakness. I want a Bulldogs club that doesn't capitulate under pressure, no matter the star quality of the player.

We built success this year on discipline and mutual respect; not from turning a blind eye.

How many young players waiting for their chance, now think it's OK to go soft on standards, or leave the club because it denies them their opportunity of playing first grade, because the club bends over backwards to keep failed stars?

It sets up a chain reaction of disappointed players, lower standards, and potentially losing promising young kids to other clubs.
