One question. You honestly think the result would have been the same if it had been a player he saw as integral to our future? Because I have my doubts.
The two items aren’t connected.
Mid-year a new contract for Josh beyond 2025 was very much in the frame. Any suggestion that this incident was used to ‘free up cap space’ is just wrong.

‘The club is in good hands with Cam, Gus and Critter [coach Cameron Ciraldo, general manager of football Phil Gould and captain Stephen Crichton], three wonderful leaders leading the club in the right direction’.
@Utility this ends your argument that JAC deliberately excluded Gus from his valedictory speech, yes?

Don’t let facts get in the way of a good clown show!
Almost Identical to this time last year, carrying on about the non-retention of Corey Waddell. Sometime next year there’ll be ‘I was just trolling about JAC and you all took the bait!’. At least the one remaining co-pilot is a lot quieter after being made to look the fool with the Dogs having made the finals this year, so there’s that.

Is it then any coincidence that we made our first finals series in 8 years after tough decisions were made?
It isn't a coincidence that they made their first finals series after, I stopped 'supporting the team'.
