OFFICIAL | POST-GAME Pre Season Challenge #2 Vs Brisbane

It just looks like 2026 will be a repeat of last year to me.
Defend brilliantly against sides with bigger packs until round 24 when fatigue sets in and Mann cracks under the pressure of holding the team together for 23 rounds.
Round 24 when we play Roosters, followed by Storm, Panthers and Sharks.
We will drop from 5th or 6th on the table to 9th or 10th.
Burton and Kikau already look worn out from too much training.
You mean 2025?

This game really showed that CC is a wonderful coach… He was able to motivate this squad to play way above their expectations last year and will have to do the same this year. I’d say a team meeting with Sexton and Burton on the cards. Burtons concentration, energy levels and execution went missing, his high point last year was his combination with fox needs to swap focus on Kikau… this side needs some trick shots.
What about maybe trying Burto at fullback and bringing in O'Neill or Tia? Burto can't play 6 like he did yesterday.. at least at fullback he can float around and is a big body with good speed

5 mins into this chooks v knights game and the Knights middles of JSaf, Leo and Croker have shown more punch and grunt than we did yesterday.. the middles are still a massive issue for us if he keeps picking the same ones..

on something way off topic, at yesterday's trial game former Dolphins player Valynce Te Whare was sitting directly in front of us, and was thinking to myself what a wasted career, this bloke is built like a brick shithouse, he big, he's strong, what a shame he doesn't have the right attitude for nrl
and he's a pretty decent fella to chat to

Seeing posts about Burton in a sling at the airport?

Are you sure? Because the Japanese season is still running and he was number 14 for them yesterday..

There he is lol

how did Zyon, DSF, Underhill and Taye Cochran go in the Cup trial?
Everyone went good. Not holding much stock in that trial performance against Newtown as I'd saying they were well under strength due to sharks being one of the Vegas teams

Isn’t he in Japan playing Rugby with Joey Manu?

Hate broncos fans so much.. they're all rubbing it in after a trial win. Clueless

Don't know where. Not on the Broncos forum they're not.

They are questioning, why Burton etc weren't given a rest.

Carrigan was only going to play 20 mins, got a bit of a twinge of the hammy at 17 mins & was replaced.
