This is the same usual circular conversation that happens in these threads. Using religion to justify homophobia then saying it's not homophobic because homosexuals aren't human.
By referencing that specific massacre and mentioning I never think the church did wrong. Hacky we just go in circles coz you keep doing mental gymnastics. Enough. You’re a male.Where did I reference the people's crusade to attach the church?
Those comments were several pages apart. Not sure how you linked them.By referencing that specific massacre and mentioning I never think the church did wrong. Hacky we just go in circles coz you keep doing mental gymnastics. Enough. You’re a male.
Who said homosexuals aren’t human? The act isn’t human to us, it’s an abomination. Don’t get confused with a hate of the act with the actual human. Remember what we’re taught? Love the sinner hate the sin. You need to learn to distinguish a from bThis is the same usual circular conversation that happens in these threads. Are you saying my homosexual workmate isn’t human? Shit, now you’re scaring me! Or is it twister time again? This is the same usual circular conversation that happens in these threads. Using religion to justify homophobia then saying it's not homophobic because homosexuals aren't human.
This is one of the key problems with religion. You're saying that you don't hate gay people for being gay, you just hate part of them. Because that's entirely what it is. A big part about being gay, the same way it's a big part about being heterosexual.Who said homosexuals aren’t human? The act isn’t human to us, it’s an abomination. But what you’re doing here is propagating fear mongering of the catholic doctrine. You’re not explaining it truthfully, but in a way where you victimise people who aren’t at all victims. We are taught to hate sin but not the sinner (the human). Any intelligent being knows the difference between the two as you yourself do but refuse to acknowldge it for your narrative to thrive. This is one of the key problems with religion. Mate, hate is a very strong word. Gays are not hated by true and genuine men and women of faith. Full stopThis is one of the key problems with religion. There is no difference. You're creating an imaginary difference. You'll accept homosexuals as long as they never have sex, as long as they never get married. But you'll still make sure they know that you see them as abominations. But what you’re doing here is propagating fear mongering of the catholic doctrine. Brother. It’s so good to hear some random on the kennel knows about that absolute based saint. It’s such a shame, many christians don’t know or refuse to learn about him because they love their own interpretations and what think is right. The guy literally was having an anxiety attack thinking he’ll miss the games to be executed so hurried them up so he can be martyred for Christ. Many people converted from his act of martyrdom. Notice how a Catholics martyrdom is different to that of other religions lol. It’s a self sacrifice no one can force it on you, you have to make that decision yourself and this guy had no fear at all because he knew the absolute truth. I don’t understand how prots will ignore a disciple of the apostle John but believe Martin Luther a thousand plus years later lolYeah bro. St Ignatious of Antioch.
In the year 107AD in his letter to the Smyrnaeans he mentions where Jesus is there is the Catholic Church. He was the disciple of St John the apostle. He also talks about the Eucharist being the flesh of Christ. Then he got martyred because of his faith in the church. By the bigots of those days apparently LOL
So you have no issue with gay marriage? No issue with two men making love?Mate, hate is a very strong word. Gays are not hated by true and genuine men and women of faith. Full stop
Yep, the Church was built on the blood of the martyrs. They thought that by killing them they will stop Christianity, but it only made them stronger.Brother. That’s why it’s the called the supernatural. You know what's unnatural?
Rising from the dead.
Yup. Buddah could manipulate the elements. Muhammad multiplied food. Shiva controlled death. Thor controlled lighting. Hulk super strength. Santa rides on a flying sleigh. 3000+ Gods and prophets will super natural abilities. That’s why it’s the called the supernatural.
You dont understand.Interesting and sad discussion going on here, though entirely expected I guess.
The old 'it's unnatural' chestnut. Always a weird card to play as what's natural now wasn't natural 30 years ago and definitely wasn't natural when Jesus (God) was apparently walking this earth.
Something like 1,500 species have same sex intercourse. God apparely created all of these creatures. Why would he 'allow' for same sex intercourse between 1,500 species but then ... no for humans?
There's gotta be a better way to present your views on same sex marriage than trying the unnatural card. It just doesn't fit.
Let's put the enjoyment side our of it and only look at the 'natural' aspect of sex. The basis of sex is for reproduction. So, it has to be between a man and a woman.
OK, in that case but doing the deed with a young lass in the pooper has no natural intentions to it. Why do so many men (lucky men I'd add) do it then? Christian men. Why? It's not natural. There's no purpose to it other than enjoyment. Why?
