Craig Bellamy- contracts mean jack shit and with cam smith reportedly retiring craig might leave too or be swayed by the $$$

As the million dollar man said everyone has a price. Give him an offer too good to refuse.

shane Flanagan on the proviso the nrl reduce his suspension

Anthony griffin- 2 titles with broncs under 20s
Left broncos in good state and when Penrith were running fourth the season he got punted.

craig fitzy
Know him personally and a genuine nice guy and knows his stuff real well
Fitzgibbon will be a good head coach whenever he gets his chance.

Not really. It'll be his last club so he won't need to play chess with how he leaves the club like he did with Knights and Dragons.
As for Wayne Bennett fuck that dinosaur... He will leave us in a bad space when he leaves

Griffin, no more nice guys please.
He might not lead us to a premiership but he’ll put us on the right path, he left Penrith and the Broncos in pretty good shape.
agree much like Murray set up the cowboys back round 05/06

With the nrl announcing they will consider Flanagan as a coach as early as this year we'd be mad to not be seriously considering him.

NRL open to Shane Flanagan taking over as head coach if Paul McGregor is sacked by Dragons
With Paul McGregor on the brink at St George Illawarra, The Daily Telegraph can reveal the NRL has softened its stance on former Cronulla boss Shane Flanagan stepping into the Dragons’ head coach role.

Pressure mounts on Dragons
NRL: Dragons coach Paul McGregor has been told he has two games to save his position, after another embarrassing performance on the weekend.
The NRL has opened the door for Shane Flanagan to return in a head coach role as soon as this season, putting further pressure on St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor’s job.

As it stands Flanagan, who is a Dragons assistant coach, isn’t eligible for a head coach role until the end of next season.

But rather than put a line through a return before then, The Daily Telegraph can reveal the NRL would consider the merit of an application made by the Dragons, or any other club, to appoint Flanagan as a head coach.
Calls for McGregor to be replaced intensified over the weekend after his side slumped to their third straight loss to start the season, going down 18-nil to an injury-depleted New Zealand Warriors.

In April last year, McGregor was re-signed until the end of 2021 but could end up surviving for the entire duration of the deal despite finishing 15th last year and only managing four wins from the last 21 games.

It’s believed the club would have folk out between $1.5 and $1.8 million if the board were to terminate McGregor’s contract.

On top of the pay out, the club would also need to find the extra funds to pay a new coach which could cost up to $800,000 a season.

But the board could potentially be swayed to make a call on McGregor’s future if it was in a position to make a cheaper internal hire in his
The Dragons’ next board meeting is scheduled for June 16, with a match against the struggling Gold Coast to follow.
Initially, Flanagan was deregistered indefinitely in December 2018 for violating the rules of his 2014 ban for his role in Cronulla’s supplement scandal.

Wait for Flanagan. Sign him ASAP for 2022 and hope he gets back a year early. Until then stick with Pay.

Ennis isn’t that dumb. If he was Ricky wouldn’t have bought him to Canberra to assist him.

Ennis is that dumb a choice. If he wasn't Ricky would have kept him at Canbra and made him a full time assistant coach.

Considering the lack of options, I think we should be looking at Wane, Toovey or Griffin
