Also watched "Rebel Ridge". It's the same concept you've seen in 100 other movies, but still a decent movie. Corrupt cops. Ex-marine who gets mistreated. Revenge. All that sort of thing. Entertaining movie.

My religion knowledge is so limited these days but I was always frustrated as a kid in the 90s, the good guys or God never sent down someone to help in the horrors and action films to take on the demons. Where are all the angels and archangels.
Don't know the exact verse or anything, but to explain it simply, angels and demons are told not to interact with humans. Obviously demons don't listen as they also have free will.

As to why they are told not to interact, I can only answer I don't know bro. The human brain cannot completely understand how God works and why things happen.

As a massive Sopranos fan, it was ok. I'm not sure what the point of this documentary was. I didn't really learn anything that I don't already know.
For me, I liked that they had David Chase in the chair talking a lot more than he has previously including about wrapping up the show and that it was HBO that made him think about it first, the finale and the cost of the show on the likes of Gandolfini who died at 51 just 6 years after the show finished.

Hard to beat Sly when it comes to a mistreated vet that takes the law into his own hands.

Sat through expendables 4 and somehow managed to stay awake. It's as bad as everyone says it is, you know times are tough when you resort to casting megan fox and fifty cent in anything
Yeah, I loved #1 and 3. #2 was tolerable, but #4 having Fox and Fifty in it sunk it for me...

Becky, a grieving rock climber, is visited by her best friend Hunter. Hunter suggests that herself and Becky, who lost her husband a year earlier in a rock climbing accident, should climb a decommissioned telecommunications tower and scatter the ashes of her deceased husband at the top of the 1800 foot structure to remember him, and help Becky move on.

Becky reluctantly agrees. They climb the structure, which is rusted and corroded, and at the top, they scatter the ashes and enjoy the view. As they begin to start their decent, they hit a roadblock when the ladder collapses and falls to the ground. They manage to stay on the platform, and need to figure out a way down. Battling harsh weather conditions, thirst, fatigue, vultures and mental health anxiety, the two must figure out a way down, or a way to communicate with the world beneath them to get back down to solid ground.

A unique movie that was very well produced, and looks very realistic. It would've been good to see at the cinemas, but Netflix did a good enough job.

7/10.

My brother actually loves mountain climbing, while knowing full well i get bad vertigo. So every time he's up in some precarious position he makes sure he tags me in the pics. Then I inevitably see I've been tagged in a post and click on it to see what it is...

2 part documentary I'm watching on Stan. Watched part 2 yesterday and the insights are pretty good. Obviously, they go into what happened with Izzy at the AFL and Rugby, but they also give you an insight into his background, why he really quit GWS, and what else happened that the cameras didn't capture.

Pretty good.

I just finished watching The Substance and it's a pretty fucked up horror movie starring Demi Moore who I have to say was brilliant, if you love horror movies this is well made and just a warning if you have a weak stomach or even if you don't definitely don't eat anything whilst watching you've been warned!!!

Just watched monkey man, too much man not enough monkey.

Seriously though, it's almost like boy kills world but without the nonsensical over the top violence. Found it to be over long, with muddled editing and with scenes being unnecessarily drawn out when it could have easily have been half an hour shorter and you wouldn't lose any of the plot.

Is it on Netflix? Sounds interesting.

No it's at the cinema now, also watched some reviews after I watched the whole movie to see peoples take on it and haven't seen one bad review, but as I said in my earlier comment if you have a weak stomach be prepared but it's worth seeing, I would rate it as one of the best horror movies of the year I won't say what type of horror movie it is as I don't want to give it away.

A FBI agent is tasked with solving the murders of an occult serial killer by deciphering cryptic messages he leaves with his victims.

This one had so much hype but ultimately failed to deliver on the scariest movie of the decade front which is unsurprising.

It was shot very well, blending use of color to match the tone of each scene and the acting was great but found the entire thing being a bit of a let down.
