who here is into martial arts? i just joined the local dojo and my 3 year old son just had his first karate lesson and loved it can't wait to kick some arse together lol

I agree, I did 4 years of Karate, 2 years Tae Kwon Do and 2 months Kung Fu

I never get into fights, and when i do Im so out of it, I loose all form anyway

Karate and all those styles are pretty useless on the street
Combo of Boxing, kickboxing and grapling are what you need on the street.
If someone came running at me trying to wrestle me straight out, he would cop a massive over hand right or right hook to put him out before he got in range to wrestle

Muay Thai is a lot of fun but you need good teachers.
Jujitsu is lots of fun as i love grappling and compared to a lot of martial arts, probably one of the safer ones for kids to do
