LOL gotta love Gus... his poker face in that video is hilarious, and the sarasm is delivered brilliantly.

What I took from that video:

We've already signed a coached and are either:
a) Waiting till seasons end to announce it because they are currently with another club ; OR
b) Flanno is the man and they don't see the point in announcing it, because they want Potter to have a fair run.

That would explain his poker face, and all his comments. There are no applicants and the phone isn't ringing because its already done.

What is a Madge-Dog by the way? Is it a dog that looks like Madge from Neighbours? Or Macguire's MC name?

I like Gus and know he is doing everything he can to make us great again, but fuck I wish he would give us something ,surely players need to know who the next coach may be not to mention sponsors and fans..
I tend to think Gus enjoys the power of "I know and you won't find out until I'm ready" sort of shit..
Anyway I think it's looking more and more like Freedy, I can't see any other reason for the ducks and drakes Gus is playing....

Yeah but Bellamy has a contract with the Storm until 2026 too. How long that’s for head coach is up to him and then he can pick a job for the remaining time. So that’s what I meant about rabbit out of a hat - I think it would be difficult and expensive to prise him away from that very cushy position.
