One player that fills a massive blank is Ryan Matterson, should be our top target right now. Lock or right edge back row, huge upgrade.

I'd love him at lock, personally I feel his career best form was playing there for the Tigers

Bang on really, and close to my suggestion.

My main issue is that we can only realistically go hard for either a gun 1 or 7. That said, I’d be Inclined to chase a fullback and leave Flanagan to develop his game and get comfortable with the formations.

Would love to somehow keep Thompson on 5-600k max, he’d be a brilliant 13.

TBH bro, I though Averillo was quite impressive when he was playing for the Kangaroos PM team. He did a lot right and looked good in attack. I've probably been his biggest critic BUT playing in that Aus team he looked good at FB. I'm hoping he has a massive off season and owns 2023.
