Objectively I say this Ute...
Get your missus to turn you over man, you are cooked.
I notice too your fighting a one man battle not one other person agrees with you because your wrong.

Also and I've said this before did you never watch Steve Waugh? He was the king of sting it's a pity he and Kockhli didn't play in the same era.
Steven was an out and out competitor, but he never got any sanction for anything involving another player. He knew how to be intense without crossing the line. Reckon he would have had fun with Kohli's ego, and if he'd been captain when Konstas got shouldered like that he would have been riling Kohli up with the full intention of causing him to do something that got him sanctioned again. He saw egos like Kohli's as a weakness.

He was the best and subtlety was his art you are correct.
I honestly don't remember Ponting being bad hence why i took Ute to task, plus a bit of Aussie bias is most certainly allowed I feel.

In this case no particular bias is necessary. Plenty of commentary from visiting Indian ex-cricketers and media has been critical of Kohli's behaviour in this case. There really isn't a way to paint what he did in a neutral light, let alone a good one. "He was just being competitive"... Really? Against a 19 year old on debut? Nah, it was a dumb thing to do and blokes like Sunny and Harsha have said he got off lightly.

India cruising again, shithouse bowling and captaincy
Cummins is hopeless as a captain unless plan A works. He bowls himself too much as well. Boland should have opened the bowling as well. Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for a few years yet.

So, they told us that Marsh will bowl a lot more during this test, hey? 3 overs at this stage & lower order batsmen having a field day.

So, either they lied to us, or Cummins has forgotten him. Why does Cummins let the game drift so much until India get back into the game? I hate this clown.

Past Australian captains would've been up and about reinforcing a clear plan to get into the tail. Doesn't seem to be any urgency from Cummins to force a result. Just chopping and changing and hoping for the best it seems

This Australian team is showing its age.

Kawaja almost blows his knee trying to slide, Lyon slipping over like a fool and taking the ball with him for a boundary.

I guess you don't know much about the game & how it operates.
And you think you know more than Khawaja and the Aussie side from the lofty position of your armchair?

I know Konstas faced up to the first ball, as was his wish. He ended up smashing a quickfire 60 and became an instant cult hero, yet you are still looking for things to complain about.

Sure, he played a risky innings and had a little luck, but he was obviously given license to play that way. You think he would have played any differently if he’d watched the first over from the non-striker’s end?

I don’t think you understand much about basic human psychology, to be honest. You get a character like Konstas who thrives on getting himself into a contest as quickly as possible and you let them do it. Konstas is a confident guy who likes to get amongst it and you want him wrapped in cotton wool.

You are taking a traditionalist view of the game, but what you don’t realise is some players like Konstas and Head are more effective if you don’t take a traditionalist approach.

Keep in mind that Ponting isn't playing this test. Kohli is.
I realise that. And I have openly condemned what he did. I have agreed he deserved a suspension for it.

My point is that some people here are making sweeping judgments about the man’s character and I think they would take a very different view of him if he were an Aussie. There’s already one member on here implying I am “on drugs” for suggesting Ponting was as prone to being blinded by the red mist as anyone.

I’m highly cooked because I don’t like regular temper tantrums and berating of opposition players and umpires from an Aussie captain? Mkay, bro.
