Lol you actually just tried to claim the utilities we bought aren't utilities just because of how their coach used them...and then in the same post, you claim Leniu is a 20 minute man, just because he was stuck behind two of the best props in the game and that's how Cleary chose to use him. ROFLMAO.

If all these utilities were good enough to play as specialists at NRL level, their coaches would have used them as specialists. But yeah, we should wet the bed because we are signing meh talent like Mann, Salmon and Hutchison while failing to sign props like leniu or convince Tino to leave the loser Titans.
That’s right as your point they are utilities so if that’s the case Spence is a 20min man. You want to pay him 800k when he is unproven at starting . Tino was never leaving titan dumb prick . Are you fucking that dumb to believe it. He stayed for a 10yr deal at 1.2mil . So we make him a 1.6 or 1.7 million offer . Fucking stupid c.unt. We have got these players signed for 2 years deals that wouldn’t be in overs . We are desperate for props and football players. Players not weak minded and want to train hard and put in for the whole 80min. Fuck we signed professional players looking for opportunities. We aren’t breaking the bank and backing ourselves into a corner with stupid deals for a long time . You fist fuck buzz bitch.

Because Hasler wasn’t interested in juniors and went for short term NRL success which started the whole rot. Had we won titles in 2012/2014 he may have been forgiven like he was at Crookvale winning 2008/2011 - but that didn’t happen so we got twice screwed.
[emoji848] hmmmm. Was Hasler first grade coach or in charge of junior development? Is all the responsibility of pathways solely on the first grade coach or does someone else have some input??? I assume no one else is responsible )junior coaches, development programs, recruiters, other club officials, just Hasler?

Sorry if this has been asked, this thread grew pages quickly. Why are the Sharks getting rid? I thought he performed really well at the end of last season. Surely they don't really want to give him up? Are they that bad on salary cap?

I've seen some responses here that say he's not that good. I get it.. but from what I saw, he was getting better and better.

I disagree. The club needs us to demonstrate it must do better, or we will walk away... otherwise we are just enabling patterns of mediocrity... and mate, if the mail I have heard about what the club did to Topine and RFM is true, I can't and won't stand by that.
Please do us a favour then and f@%k off.
We don't whiny little bitches like you!

Hasler was given charge of the entire football program - it was one of his demands to lure him from Manly. Greenberg even said ‘Des runs football, I run the business’. You may recall it eventually led to Turvey saying we’d ’lost our way’ under Hasler which cost him his place on the board for a while. Sure, there were lower grade coaches and other staff but Hasler had control - yet only seemed interested in short term NRL success - and hence the rot started. I don’t blame him entirely, successive executives and directors didn’t stop it until it was too late (the backended contracts, salary cap problems, poor recruitment and on it goes).

Dogs making the Grand finals in 2012 and 2014 is because of the juniors that came through. Hasler and crew including castle made a mess and dib stripped haslers power at the end from memory but damage was done. Hasler and crew including Castle played a big factor in the mess this club went through. The club will be successful again.
Des should of picked Reni maitua in the grand final. He really didn't use the talent available that well tbh

Tracey started 14 of those on the bench. I’d still rather have Avo and would hope that Tracey is on less than the reported 350-400k we offered (if we did) to Jake but Tracey is definitely good and comparable if not better
