We sold them Eucalypts around the 1930's and turns out they take around 100 years to fully mature at which point they are highly flammable.

This is worrying as it's meant to be getting cooler in the US, not hotter. I wonder if they even have back-burning projects like we do here. That is one is really bad. I'm not sure we've ever seen something to that scale.

From what I can find Camp Fire (Butte County), and Woolsey Fire (LA & Ventura County) are still burning.

Camp Fire they expect to have fully contained by 30th Nov.
Woolsey Fire they expect to have fully contained by 22nd Nov.

That's as of CBS article on 20th Nov.

I have driven through a fire once.
Was at the mountains, on old Bathurst road.
Volunteers told us it was too dangerous to drive through.
I said to my mate driving, fuck that punch it! We don't want to be stuck up here!

So like the stupid kids we were we drove through it and it was like a scene out of a heavy metal music video!
