OFFICIAL | PRE-GAME Bulldogs vs Dragons @ jubilee stadium - 8th March 5.30pm

I really think Xerri doesn’t offer enough…..too slow ff
for a centre and dies not offer enough sperk. apart from Critta I think our backline has to be one of the weakest In the comp
You deadset have some shocking opinions. Are you a troll?
Xerri would be arguably the quickest in the team. Are you related to Joel?

The Dragons have a pretty shitty starting forward pack imo.

Our bench will be turd but our starting pack should have it over theirs.

Which is why I acknowledged the loss of Hunt. I think they'll a better team than last year.

They'll be potent in attack and off backline plays with Gutho and Val. They'll be more of a threat in dummy half with Cook. But their halves are rubbish and they're horrible in defence.

It should be an even game as you didn't mention our negatives which are no Kiraz and Curran.
The combined 2 games score last season against the Dargons was 72 to 22, of which Lomax scored 10 plus their most run meters and he's not there this year. Hunt had 2 try assists and he's not there this year either. They are far greater losses than ours.

The big thing for me is we have had a full preseason together, training in the positions that we will be playing. We didn't have that last year. Plus we have had a full season playing together, which again we didn't have for almost the first half of last season. Then add in the number of NRL games experience that we added to each player last season. For example Xerri had 0 for 4 years, now he has a full season. Hughes had 5 NRL games, now he has 30. Sexton while playing with us has doubled his NRL games experience and Wilson now has over 20 NRL games. Hays had zero NRL experience last season. Crichton, last year was his first with us and first as Captain.

I expect a big lift in the team working together and the NRL games experience gained last season should also make huge difference.

He's always good for an error or two

You need to learn to count, 0.75 errors per game, that's less than 1 and definitely less than "a couple". That's the same as Crichton and Burton and less than Kiraz, Wilson, JAC and Tracey. That makes him the equal least error prone player in our backline and considering it his first season back after 4 season, that's a pretty decent effort.

I could just learn to google, then be smug about it.. but I see you fill that void pretty well on here.

Team Work :D

Yh he did awesome to come back so well last season but he's missing quite a bit as a strike centre right now. Honestly he looks quite slow, struggles to ever burst through a gap and beat a player one one one. Sort of just a solid line running centre right now.

Agree VERY one dimensional ..... and we haven't got any centers coming through the grades whatsoever. The dude from Newcastle Tuala(sp) is only a solid versatile type with ZERO speed.

The one i had high hopes for Sloan has looked bang average in Mathews ..... hoping it is due to playing in a very ordinary and what appears poorly coached team (Sorry Shrek)

Alverillo ..... I would have him back in a farking heartbeat ..... fullback or center.

I thought Gabrael looked solid in the trials, nice footwork and hands. But yh, we're kinda lacking there. Wing we have a shit load of players coming though though, just would be nice to not have to play Montoya right now...

There was a reason I twerked for Averillo and it was because he was pure points which is something we lack in the backline (and forwards) right now.

Somehow forgot about Gabrael, my bad ...... was very impressed with how he handled his highly touted brother in the Flegg GF .... Nice Mover.

thinking of flying down for this how do we get tikets?

True, about our lack of depth in our centers, but on the plus side both Critta @ Xerri are both young, also if meeded Burton could play their and, I'm sure C C should find another 5/8, perhaps Cassius,

Burton is definitely an option at centre. For almost everyone except for the man who picks the side. We have so many more options for 6 than we have for centre.

If you don't want your opinions to be replied to, don't post mate.
Just because I give an opinion that u don't like u say I'm trolling this site. Really? I stand by my opinion that Xerri is,slow, lacks spark and doesn't offer enough as a centre. I hope that he proves me wrong this year.
