Agree on all counts. I struggle to be too critical when he has to play off Burton and Kikau receives most of the ball and the same shape is ran off him all the time.

It's not all +'s for the Dragons, the have had some -'s. They lost Hunt their top (by some margin) in try assists, Lomax their top try scorer and Bird their next most experienced NRL player.

Which is why I acknowledged the loss of Hunt. I think they'll a better team than last year.

They'll be potent in attack and off backline plays with Gutho and Val. They'll be more of a threat in dummy half with Cook. But their halves are rubbish and they're horrible in defence.

It should be an even game as you didn't mention our negatives which are no Kiraz and Curran.

I really think Xerri doesn’t offer enough…..too slow ff
for a centre and dies not offer enough sperk. apart from Critta I think our backline has to be one of the weakest In the comp

Dragons 2025 has a more varied attack than their 2024 where most of their strike cane from Hunt and Lomax and to a lesser extent Sloane.

Although their halves are worse now, they are more balanced and have more strike players than previously.

I think they'll make the top 8.

Ive always rated Gutho highly and im gutted we go after him. Especially after missing out on Pappy. The other FB id really want is CNK.

CNK off to Tigers next year 4 year deal
 
Teams like Storm would eat them for breakfast as a round 1 fixture and get off to a fast start.
