Yes but it speaks to the lack of available talent when you have to bring two of those guys back to fill your 30 when in better circumstances it wouldn’t have been a consideration. I think the 17th team made it worse too - that’s the point I was making. Or trying to make :-).

Well Grubs contribution as god father and chief motivator off the field was about as effective as performances on the field.

Perfectly acceptable to criticise such poor decision making as the curtain falls. If he is made of the right stuff as the majority are now saying I hope in future he doesn't waste time and resources signing people who physically can't do the job they're paid to do.

And by the way Davey’s immense experience is a season or two at Manly and now a few games here and a few at Parra. Such experience to come t on what good looks like
