Yeh I hear ya mate.Tough gig sometimes hey I went from 2/2 at Geelong early to nada couldn't pick one or my nose..but i persevered and backed one for the place in the last race there the toppie who ran 3rd.Cashed that money in and switched corps and same headed over to Belmont gallops, like you I backed some shorties including one of Parnham's at 1.80 and Gage Roads at a super short 1.40 lol I cashed in after that bastard just fell in to win.
In earlier races I also had collects with a couple of Same Race Multis, small fields so not big odds at all but just take the 2 legs and picking say the fav to run 3rd or 4th even and one other i liked to also run at least 4th..worked well in the earlier 6 and 7 horse fields, they were quite predictable.
So having finished in front what's a bloke to do, of course have a punt at Pinny today.You ever been there or to any WA tracks
@Natboy ? Pinny is grouse but you need a designated driver though as it's an hour out of Perth roughly.
Late arvo start here well after 3pm and two I like(I actually like about 5 all together a couple of favs for Kennedy should win earlier)are :
R5 Allworkandnoplay..ready to rock and roll today 3rd race start and up in trip, the little chicky apprentice Holly Watson riding it steers them quite ok.
R6 Rulelee who won for me last start and is looking to 2peat today..hung on gamely to win after a wide run last start but likely gets a better run tomorrow In a much smaller field.
