Hold the phone, it's a pretty feeble alibi claiming 2022 is OK simply because of 2021. What if 2021 wasn't OK, what if the Chooks were in fact $3m over the Cap in 2021? Kinda ruins your claim that 2022 must be OK simply based on that level of Cap rorting in 2021. Salary Cap cheats often don't get caught for years after they commit the crime, give it time.

It doesn't take a genius to add up that the Chooks have 8 players that cost over $6m with BSmith included. That leaves less than $4m for the other 22 players. Which we all know is impossible when the minimum is $130k from the 2022 season.

Half that spine are a few headknocks away from retirement, Keary's skull is made of eggshell and Wangcheese won't be too far behind. If their form starts to take a dive in the next 2 or 3 seasons I can see a few convenient medical retirements evolving.
