The ironic thing here is that I 2019 the LNP used dirty tactics to scrape the election win, eg Gladys liu and frydenbergs electorates with dodgy AEC resembling signs, Dickson passing around fake greens how to vote pamphlets, and of course Clive palmer creating his party to funnel votes (through preferences) to the LNP as he had no intention of actually winning a seat.
