Morrison has a mission on emissions reductions - firstly the right wing of his own party and then the Nats. Turnbull underestimated that and it was part of his downfall. Windsor used his position to get things done for his electorate. Joyce canned the projects Windsor had won approval for. That's the spiteful side of the coalition, they love to get even.

It happens everywhere. Remember in NSW terms when Iemma announced the original NW Metro for Sydney? As soon as he was gone, Rees and then Keneally turned it into the CBD Metro - a train to nowhere that thankfully wasn’t built. All they managed to do was spend $500m reimbursing property owners and developers who’d been contracted when it was canned. I’m wary of all of them, always have been.

Ironic isn't it that Barnababy is now complaining about social media gossip and innuendo, and using his daughter for publicity, when his campaign against Windsor was based on a slur that Tony was having an affair and was apparently mistreating his wife.

Shortly thereafter Joyce actually does do all of that in reality.

Windsor is still seeking a public apology from him and his campaign director but Barnyard has the local paper and business leaders in hand, so that won't happen. Plus the guy has no principles.

Windsor seemed that rare breed.... an honorable politician.

Extinct characteristic nowadays :grinning:
