Gay rights activists didn't start using the term faggot to stop other people from being homophobic, they did it to flip the script - to say 'fuck you, you don't get to tell us how to live, you're the problem'. The effectiveness of the strategy is open to debate, for sure.....but I think all in all, slut shaming is decreasing as society shifts away from taboos about the sex lives of women.

Cardi B, a talentless stripper who would drug men and rob them and brag about it because she "had to support herself, because she had no other options" somehow manages to get a recored deal and become the face of female empowerment.

Yep I don't play video games but my brother does. He's been playing GTA since it first came out and so far he has killed zero prostitutes and stolen zero cars. I listen to metal and I'm an atheist. I have no plans to worship Satan any time soon

I personally can't tally that with reality.

Some are affected by porn and some poor upbringing, some life experiences etc so I can't see violent video games being any different. Didn't say everyone generally is affected to the extent that they go out and practice on their neighbours but I do think that generally the violence in the games, the skanky behaviour and the sexualisation of women, the pressure to act like alpha males/sporting gods for men...does lead to less genuine concern and manners towards others and a now heightened acceptance that its all about me, me, me and what I can aggressively take if I have to.

Just my thoughts that all of these things stimulate the brain and lead to other consequences. Not all participants are affected equally yet some part of their brain gets the artificial stimulant that fulfills the craving.

Occasionally a song comes along that's so bad that it could result in the end of society as we know it. A song so devastatingly terrible that the only hope for humanity is if we all hear it so we can all suffer together. This is that song.

Don't get me wrong. I still love Shakira and plan to marry her one day. My wife is fully aware of this. But this is just horrible.
