Now seems like the perfect opportunity to offload Flanno or Wakeham to the Raiders. Surely both of them are ahead of Frawley in ranks?

If nothing else Flanno’s money next year gives us a better chance of picking up a decent halfback?

Does anyone know the salary cap rules when a player goes to the ESL?

If they go to another NRL club any wage not picked up by the new club must be worn in freight on the cap of the original team?

Does the same salary cap rules stand if the player goes to the ESL and breaks their contact early?

We thought no one would sign Montoya and he's still starting for the Warriors a year later. Elliott is starting for Canberra. Don't underestimate how desperate clubs get in signing other clubs rejects. Someone will sign Flanagan eventually. It's just a matter of how much of his salary we have to pay to make it happen.

Pay it as a (reverse) Transfer Fee, transfer fees aren't included in the Cap.
