i dunno man. ever since he started playing, he had this massive temper when things werent going his way, not of the Safin proportions, it was more off the field, which even when he was young, his coaches used to cop.

As a tennis player he obviously is 1 of the greatest, as a person, i wasnt a fan of him, and still isnt.
I remember differently when he first came, I had such a poor innocent look about him, I always wanted him to do well

ps Safin is the GREATEST tennis player ALIVE lol :grinning:

haha nah he wasnt too innocent :p he said it himself he would get pissed off heaps and sometimes take it out on his group lol. Once he realised what he was doing he started to calm down and this turned to him winning ;), and also his fiance' who is a former tennis player wont take crap lol so he had to htfu :p

Well, he was challenging almost everything......

I gave up when the final set was at 12-11....Couldn't stay up any longer.

Im glad Federer won though.

Watching the Williams Sisters is so boring (I do like Serena though).

The final set went on like forever......I was almost falling asleep in front of the Telly...Sorry.

Wimbledon just happens to be one of my favorite sporting events. I love the "Old School" feel of it.

The final set alone went longer than the womens final.

Federer served something like 50 aces, the record at Wimbledon is 51.

Rod**** held serve for 38 straight games.

Longest final at Wimbledon

HANI I LOVE YOU!!!!

Your practically the only person that shares this with me!!

My dislike for Federer increased when he was too busy crying and feeling sorry for himself and acting like a sore loser after the Australian open (?) to congratulate Nadal

But he did congratulate Nadal

Naturally you're going to feel disappointed after losing a GS final, doesnt mean you're a sore loser.

Oh please, Nadal had to console him while he had a cry ffs.

The way he carried on and sooked was ridiculous. Very poor reaction.

I for one dont like him as id like to see some competition, its almost as boring as a team winning the NRL GF for years on end

Each to their own. But he still congratulated Nadal, he did cry I'm not a fan of that, but crying doesnt make you a sore loser

We will have to agree to disagree. He carried on, it wasnt just tears, he acted like an idiot.
