What a waste of 7 million dollars when we can't even organise a 5th tackle play or a flexible game plan!!!

I don't get why people would be upset with that article. Plenty of facts in it that some fans just don't want to admit.

But we played in 2 grand finals and lost and we make the finals every year. Plus we do better than teams like the Gold Coast, Canberra and Newcastle.
How depressing, look at the teams you compared us with.

Thanks mate for a bit of sanity!
Other cubs would kill to be doing as 'badly'.

Its not as if we have an ordinary roster , other clubs would kill to have the players we have. We have more current , former internationals and SOO players than most other clubs. If Bmoz and Lichaa weren't so injury prone then we would have a decent spine (bmoz, moses and lichaa) and build the side around them ,like the storm , broncos and cowboys have done. The only player I wish we did sign and should have thrown every dollar at would have been JT. With him directing our forwards around we would have a won a premiership or 2 by now.

The cowboys have players in key positions (granted they have JT) a couple of gun props, but the rest are guys that have either come through the ranks or discarded by other clubs. We have the players just need them all fit and firing , especially BMoz.

Wasn't convinced on him as a fullback last year but he did alright , 9 tries in 15 games.

Hasler seems stuck in a time warp. He plays unlimited tackle football. Unfortunately for the dogs, its no longer unlimited.
His recruitment is also suited for unlimited tackles. Big lumbering forwards without a lot of skills. He really needs to evolve into a modern coach or he should be let go.

I have wanted Des gone for a while, i hate the style of footy and struggle to enjoy our ganes these days.
He is a myth and a stubborn boring old man
Too bloody negative and this is portrayed in everything he does incl team selections
Des is a hard headed arseclown who thinks consistency is the key. Consistency is the key when the players you have, have the ability to be consistent. Not consistently picking useless players who are consistently rubbish just to try and prove a f*cking point about consistency.
I don't know but something has to change!!! If we play like we did tonight, against a team like Souths they are going to pants us, every day of the week and twice on Sundays!!!
I really don't understand why Hasler insists on playing the same style and continually pick out of form players.

Stanley and Perrett out, holland and Phillips in.
The same answer I said in 2014-

NO!

Des' stubborn, boring, and predictable tactics on show again today. 8 tries and 6 line breaks. Perrett kicking infield for Hoppoates try, tries scored with a deep line set, players being smartly instinctive and creating chances off the back of a dominant forward pack. Well after putting the queue back in the rack the Dogs make a break down the right side with superb passing and hole hitting, and then combine nicely to put Rona over a few tackles later.

Bad games happen, and losing can be hard to take sometimes, but this is not a team on the precipice of a disaster. Failing an unlucky run of injuries, this team is going to play finals football, and as everyone knows, in finals footy anything can happen.

Try to keep yourselves together next time we have a tough loss, could be next week, could be the week after. We will have more losses, more bad days, but they are not the end of the world.

Bro don't start seriously. In terms of structure we played very similar compared to last week. Souths just sat back all during the first hald and let us play the way we wanted.

I didn't start it. Just wondering where all the naysayers are. Souths have no excuses and won't offer any, they were outplayed massively in the first half. Why would you give them excuses?
