There was no bite.
Not only should wighton not get suspended, but gamble should be charged.
if a player is injured due to foul play, the time out of the game is considered when punishing the offender
If a player cheats to get someone suspended, the length of the potential suspension should be considered.

Simple bro - arm near mouth and bite marks. If previous are anything to go by, Wighton gets a decent holiday fully paid for by the Bunnies.

As for the arm near the mouth, yeah. Reckon what you should see out of this is crackdown. But what you will see is absolutely nothing. Not changing interpretations halfway through the finals and will forget about it by the time next season starts.
Bro, I can push my arm into the corner of a table and it’ll leave a mark. Did it bite me?

Yes. And the table gets 6-8 weeks.

I'm not saying it's right, that's the precedent. And I reckon most people who complain about the nrl rules are wanting consistency.

So has been officially charged or did he get away with it?

And Analsley on why he wasn't sent off.

"Some high tackles are sent off, some aren't. Some high tackles are sent to the sin bin, some aren't," he said during his weekly briefing.

"The officials have to make a decision based on what evidence they believe they have in which to make that decision.

"Obviously the officials yesterday made the decision based on the evidence they thought they had. Now that doesn't mean they were right or wrong, and ultimately whether the player will be guilty or not guilty. A player could go through a hearing and be found not guilty.

"For any incident in our game, there is no predetermined outcome. It's a matter for the match officials to take what they believe to be the appropriate action based on the information they have at that time."

Just seems so random.....

I’m a bit unsure here. Not a Wighton or Proctor fan but I wouldn’t have thought either of them had biting in their game. Got pretty good records don’t they?

I can’t believe people are blaming Wighton.
