I respect your opinion Spoonman, but I honestly think we will see JMK at 13 sometime & somewhere in the future.
This is just my honest opinion from what I see and from where the game is heading with most teams looking for that ball playing small forward at 13.
I know it might sound a little outlandish, but I'll try and share with you the reasons behind my thoughts.
He came to the club as a halfback which requires different passing skills than playing at 9 & better suited to that ball playing lock role.
We have all seen how quick off the mark he is & the speed he posses.
Transfer that to getting the ball off a flat pass from dummy half to target slow forwards with the aim of getting a quick play on tackle 4 as Cam Murray does to set up the next play.
He currently handles his defensive roll in the middle & certainly isn't a spot defender & misses few tackles.
He would have to put on a few kg's as Brandon Smith has done, but his frame is deceptively big if you look at the following stats -
JMK is taller than 3 of the NRL's leading small lock forwards.
JMK - Height = 186cm (6ft-1inch) Weight = 83 KG -

Cam Murray - Height = 184cm (6ft) Weight = 90 KG -

Victor Radley - Height = 182cm (5ft- 11 inch) Weight = 92 KG -

Brandon Smith - Height = 180cm (5ft- 11 inch) Weight = 94 KG -

I know many of you will think I'm Mad & believe that JMK is not 1st grade standard, but it honestly believe that his best days in the NRL are ahead of him, and in my opinion that will be at 13 or as a 14 coming on to play that 13 role.
Time will tell.
