When Woods comes into the picture what happens?

Graham is 31 mate. Keep in mind props tend to reach their peak in their late 20s, and i cant even recall graham having any major injuries!! I think he could easily play another 2-3 years!!

he played 225 games for St helens
add another 100 or so for canterbury

that's alot of games for a front rower

Agreed. If we get Woods it will only be at the loss of either Tolman or Graham (preferably the former). Tolman is a workhorse with no real impact so they won't more him to the bench. Graham and Woods are also workhorses. You can't have 3 workhorse props on the team. Just doesn't work.

If this is at the expense of Graham its crazy. Especially to pay him more than Graham. Its not an upgrade imo.
Priority is Fullback since Frawley stepped up to the plate. Abbey isnot ready unfortunatley, I was all for him coming in but hasnt paid off.

If we can afford to keep them all, which is unlikely, the best thing to happen is for Graham to start on the bench.
Tolman and Woods starting props, Woolford as hooker, Jackson and Eastwood in 2nd row and Klemmer at lock.
Graham, RFM, Elliott, + one other on the bench. Win win situation.

I don't even think their is any strategy to our recruitment anymore. Sure if they are a forward than lets sign 17 BUT I think we just offer everyone a million in the hope someone just says yes, then we hope they play a position we need and if not they can play it anyway.

Id put Mariner on the bench in place of Eastwood who should be moved on and start Elliot. Reynolds on bench (taking pay cut) over Cleeland would be sweet.
