Yep. Binge watched it over the weekend and friggin' loved it. I was questioning their choice for Punisher until I saw him. They couldn't have picked a better Punisher. Mean as they come and tough as nails.
Gotta say that I didn't really like any of the Elektra stuff though. It got a bit interesting at parts but it just felt so out of place to the rest of it. Wasn't a fan of the actress or the character and the whole story surrounding her was heavily cliche and very predictable. The Punisher story fit in perfectly with the world and setting then the Elektra story comes along and just feels like it's a completely different show.
I understand why they did it as they didn't want the show getting stale but if they cut out all the Elektra stuff and focused on the Punisher story I think it would have been more enjoyable.
That said, still a brilliant season. 10/10
I have the same issue as well it sort of felt forced as well and she was just their to satisfy diversity to say females can kick ass as well.
But yeah did you notice how the did a sort of daredevil v punisher? Like batman v superman, both heroes in their own right but go about it differently so fight about it then understand why they do what they do in the way they do it.
That black sky thing wasn't explained properly i think that was done on purpose yeah? Leaving it for next season. I loved the violence and in your face blood and shotguns straight to the head haha awesome shit.
I cannot wait for Luke cage, Jessica jones was too feminist for me to like sorry haha, when a girl is completely belittling a guy just Coz he is trying to help and offering an opinion I think that's sad and if it was the other way around it would be considered sexist and lowering women. But whatever.
