Wifey and I finished season 2 of Night Agent. It was ok, but not as good as season one. They could definitely have gone in another direction than the same old cliche being used of Iranian Terrorists in the US.

Yet the regular shows on tv can afford to have episodes ranging from 20-24 episodes per season - every year.

Compare this to Squid Game... 3 years to make 8 episodes

Great concept. I liked how Korra basically messed up the world then just walked away to do some scissoring.

Reacher, season 3. Pretty good so far. Much better than the previous season.

I'm annoyed I didn't wait until the whole season came out. I was waiting then decided to watch one episode tonight, and ended up binging all 3 episodes. Now I have to wait.

It's good to see they haven't dropped the ridiculous trope. Each season he kills people and some law enforcement members say, "yeah, that's fine. We'll ignore that". It's always hilarious but it's great.

Binge watched The Rig on Amazon Prime.

It's only 6 episodes so it's not a long watch, but each episode is an hour and it feels longer than that. Early on I thought, "This is pretty interesting, hopefully it goes somewhere good". By episode 4 I thought, "I'm pretty sure this isn't going anywhere but I'm this far in so I'll finish it"

This is basically what happens when you make a show and spend all your money on the cast, and forget to save money for CGI, or good story board writers. The moment to moment writing is good, but the story is cliche and boring. The CGI is some of the worst I've seen. It feels like they had 1 hour of content that they stretch out over 6 hours, and worst of all, it ends in a To Be Continued and there is zero chance this show gets renewed for a 2nd season.

Best to skip this one unless you have absolutely nothing to watch.

So The Rig's ratings were so bad that it was axed shortly after the show came out. But it must have been saved because episode 1 of Season 2 just popped up on Prime Video.

I have to ask, why? The first season was so bad. I don't know anyone who liked it.

I don't watch anything marvel or superhero related really.

Though saying that, I'm currently watching hannibal and the way they portray him in that show the justice league and avengers would have nothing on him and he'd outsmart and kill everyone.

Watched the first episode. It's dark. They have definitely taken a different direction with the new show. This art style is heaps different too. Feels more like a classic horror movie.
