Titans

Bloody solid show. Think Teen Titans if they're grown up and Robyn is verging on sociopathic serial killer.

Season starts a little slow but is brilliant and unfortunately ends on a cliff hanger. But well worth the watch. And the ending sets up for an insane second season

Why did they make Starfire black?

She has always been black. Relatively. She's always had a large butt and dark skin. The only reason people didn't think she was white is 'cause she has red hair.
I've only see the cartoon (dad's will know), she wasn't black and cyborg was.

PS picks of her large butt or GTFO

Hi Everyone,

I am quickly running out of TV shows to watch, and wanted to get some suggestions from you all for good tv shows to watch,

I like all genre's (except teenage vampire crap)

for me, my favourites at the moment are;
  • Game of thrones
  • Archer
  • Orange is the new black (if you haven't seen it, it is a drama comedy set in a womens prison and a significant amount of lesbian sex scenes)
  • Vikings (a drama by the history channel)
  • Californication
Nothing, to quote Kevin Bloody Wilson “half of it is crap and the other half’s all shit” in saying that I cant wait for the final season of Game of Thrones to start in 2019 and if you don’t like it you can go and get fucked because Winter is coming fuckers :grimacing:

Pretty good, binged season 1. Typical well directed and casted Narcos style.

Starting on El Chapo Season 2 now.

I've nearly finished Narcos: Mexico, it's good but could have been better imo. I quite liked El chapo it really gets going in the second season

Didn't even know seasons 2 and 3 were already out, got some binging to do lol

PS can't stand that little politician wanker, hope he gets whacked.

EDIT: Can't call him a *** now after S2E2, where we find out he actually is one lol I'll change it to wanker.

Just finished watching Longmire - the entire series. STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT.

It's based on the book. It's about Sheriff Longmire (played by Australian veteran actor Robert Taylor), who runs the Sheriff's office in a fictional town in Wyoming, USA. It's a bit like the tales of westerns but not the meaningless deaths of Cowboys vs Indians. However, a lot of the show is centred on the Native American community in the area, and how they constantly have run-ins with the Sheriff's office.

I was never a fan of these old western films... but I couldn't get enough of this series.

I quite liked Longmire. It's not normally my style of show, and Moretti was fucking annoying (and Cady wan't far behind), and for a small Wyoming town they sure had a lot of murders, but once I got into it, I had to see it through to the end. I liked the Ferg. He represented every small town kid who wanted to make his town a better place.

Yep. Not into westerns at all but that one was able to get you hooked. There were quite a lot of differences between the show and the book.

From wiki:

Among the key differences between the books and the TV series are the character's age and backstory. In the books, it is established that Walt is a college graduate and Vietnam War veteran, and has been the Absaroka County Sheriff since the early 1980s. However, on the TV show, no mention have been made or alluded to of a college or a military career (although those haven't been ruled out, either), and Walt's age has been established multiple times, via his having graduated from high school in 1981 and having been friends with Henry since they were 12 years old, 38 years earlier.

In a significant departure from the books, on the show, Walt's wife Martha did not die from cancer. Although she was diagnosed with the disease, in the TV series she was murdered, and the associated details are slowly revealed over several seasons, significantly affecting Walt's relationships with his deputy Branch and the Connally family.

While the TV series portrays Vic as being interested in Walt, her feelings aren't reciprocated like they are in the books. Instead, the TV series has Walt slowly recovering from losing his wife, unable or unwilling to maintain a relationship with a woman called Lizzie Ambrose, before finally showing enough interest in a member of the opposite sex to actively court Dr. Donna Sue Monaghan. Only as the show draws to a close does Walt start a relationship with Vic.

In the books, Absaroka County sees five murders in 24 years. The TV series sees 27 confirmed murders in the two first seasons alone.

27 murders in 2 years? That's almost as bad as the town where Murder She Wrote was based. or Midsommer.

Created by George Pelecanos and David Simon, who also collaborated on HBO's "The Wire" and "Treme," the semifictional drama series "The Deuce" tells of the germination of the sex-trade industry in the heart of New York's Times Square. It's the early 1970s, and the porn business begins a shift from organized crime-backed parlors to a legitimate, culturally accepted enterprise. A cast of barkeeps, prostitutes, pimps, police and nightlife seekers centers around twins Vincent and Frankie Martino (James Franco, in a dual role), who navigate the sex business after meeting well-connected mobster Rudy Pipilo. Their storyline, among others, merges with that of prostitute Candy, whose ambition and intelligence lead her to a more prominent role in the industry

A fantastic show with dynamic characters, seamless writing and where everyone nails their role perfectly. I normally dislike James Franco and Maggie gyllenhaal but credit where it's due, they are great in this
