Yeah they are not even in the same league hey I looked into what it takes to get a Ogalo franchise not seriously but out of interest because in the right areas you would make a killing but I think they are pretty picky. I live in Marrickville but I’m a couple of streets away from the store there but I mainly looked into owning a franchise so I could open an Ogalo on my street so I didn’t have to walk 3 blocks to get it. Nothing beats a good Ogalo burger though. It annoys me that Oporto spread like Wildfire while Ogalo has barely any stores and they're clearly the superior burger.
BTW, the recipe for the chicken is pretty simple. It's just marinated in Caesar dressing. But I still haven't figured out the mayonnaise they use. That stuff is crack. I also haven't got the chili sauce/oil quite right yet. I haven’t even thought about attempting it but that will be my next project. The mayonnaise is definitely the crack element of the burger.
