Speculation Trump will have to go cap in hand to Saudis and Putin again for funds for his trials as 30 US banks won't lend him any money...or NY sell his hotels/golf courses and find out he is perilously over leveraged.

His lawyers comments did make me laugh, "Mr Trump can't pay these lawsuits. He's broke"

But I also have a feeling he said that to get his supporters to donate like they did last time.

Amazing how history repeats itself and the people who can stop that repeat never seem to learn from the previous time.

Fifty years ago President Lyndon Johnson died. He was a lifetime politician/public servant with no other identifiable source of income, but his estate was worth something like twenty times his lifetime earnings. One would have thought his republican opponents and the fourth estate would have been curious about where LBJ's personal money tree was planted - but crickets!

Now we have another president, also a lifetime politician/public servant with no other obvious source of income. He isn't dead yet, and so his wealth is not a matter of public record, but he is clearly not short of a quid, even by presidential standards. Surely some enterprising investigative journalist could put together an estimate of Biden's wealth? I doubt if the oversight committee are actually interested in getting rid of Biden, as virtually anyone else the Dems could pick would have a better chance of winning in November. They want to dirt him up as much as they can, without actually removing him from office.

Took 2 seconds on Google to find that Biden's estimated wealth is around $10 million, most of which comes from a property investment porfolio. Plus the $400k per year Presidential pay helps.

Doesn't mean he's not corrupt. Just that he has plenty of legitimate money. Completely agree that he's a terrible choice for President though. He has been alright since winning, but he's too old. Then again, the alternative democrat option is a nutjob conspiracy theorist.

He doesn't have the money. He has raised $3 billion in shares through the merger. But he won't have those shares until after the bond deadline. And he can't sell them until well after.

Trump has stated that he has the money, but his lawyers have stated that he doesn't have the money. We'll know soon enough as the deadline is due in the next 24 hours.
