Music festivals. FMD it's like there's a new one on every weekend. I don't even know what abbreviations are for anymore. All I see is a few words scrambled together and people dressed like tramps... straight away I know it's a music festival. And if it's not social media letting me know then, then a news report that weekend on someone who's in hospital in a critical condition is.

It's something like $80k a prisoner a year to have them locked up (costing the government/taxpayer). Start executing them and watch the number of drug dealers drop, the number of drug takers drop, and the amount of associated crime drop as well.

Add to that the lower costs of policing and the lower costs and holding prisons in cells.

There's lots of good reasons to do it!

As long as it's done right and they actually go through a trial and are proven beyond any doubt to have dealt dodgy drugs with little care for the victims.

The way the Philippines handle it is wrong. They don't put them through trial, they just execute them in the street. Many are not drug dealers, just people that the police don't like.

I don't want our nation to be a nation that kills people. That's a step backwards. Having drug dealers locked up in solitary is punishment enough - it's psychological torture and will feel like forever.
