That's not a Lambo bro, that's a UFO lol the wheels are there to fool us lol@tank2.0 with your love of lamborghinis I am surprised you haven’t mentioned the Veneno roadster yet!! Honestly I have never liked lamborghinis, I think they are just plain ugly, but the Veneno... that is a thing of beauty and an absolute rocket too. 0-100 in 2.9

Shit that's a lot... if it's a Walkinshaw motor give them a call maybe? Oils not something you want to get wrong.Anyone know much about 6.0L LS2 motors? Mine his heavily modded and has 160k on the clock.
I know I need a full synthetic oil, and the thirsty bitch needs about 8.3 litres of oil. But I can't figure out the best viscosity for my car. Nearly every one I ask has a different view but the most popular answers are 5w30, 10w40 or 10w60.
What if I split the difference and go 10w50?
5w 30, and it uses that much oil beacause it's got an oil cooler I'm pretty sureAnyone know much about 6.0L LS2 motors? Mine his heavily modded and has 160k on the clock.

You are correct sir, been told they have an oil cooler.5w 30, and it uses that much oil beacause it's got an oil cooler I'm pretty sure
Can't believe I didn't even think of that! Got to dig up The receipts to find their number.Shit that's a lot... if it's a Walkinshaw motor give them a call maybe? Oils not something you want to get wrong.
You may want to be run a different viscosity depending on the time of year (especially if your location has a large temp difference between summer/winter). The number before the W(Winter) is the rating of the oil flow at -17.8C and the number after is at 100C. Honestly do what mr i suggested above, contact Walkinshaw, if any company in australia knows about a GM LS2 it is without doubt these guys While you are at it, convince them to use the camaro to take on the mustang in the V8 SuperCarsAnyone know much about 6.0L LS2 motors? All that number are how thick the oil is for example 10w 40 mean when oil is warm and cold .Anyone know much about 6.0L LS2 motors? Mine his heavily modded and has 160k on the clock.

5w40 be ok you reckon?5w 30, and it uses that much oil beacause it's got an oil cooler I'm pretty sure
But I'd call to double check
Make sure u use a quality oil, nulon Penrite Mobil etc
Is 160k considered low? The cam and other mods were done at 120k.All that number are how thick the oil is for example 10w 40 mean when oil is warm and cold .
If you have done low ks just stick with 10w 40 or 10w 30
If engine is old you might want to go as 15w 60
