Strong reccomendations for you guys:

I bought season 9 on DVD from amazon.com (season 9 comes here March 21 or is it 27?)

I should have waited. The DVD's work but it is totally different to our settings. Example:

* No subtitles for audio commentaries.

* Subtitles must be accessed through special features.

* If you want to play an episode with deleted scenes, instead of playing the whole episode with the deleted scenes in the episode like what we have in the Aus versions, a stupid scissor logo comes up and you must press it to watch them.

* If you want subtitles AND deleted scenes, you have to go to the special features menu of the episode, select subtitles, go back to the special features menu and select deleted scenes.

So even though you may be a huge Simmo's fan like me, I STRONGLY recommend you wait for the Aus version to come out.

Yeah man im a big massive Simpsons fan, but have not got to buying the seasons yet. I used to tape the episodes as a child. Got about 10 tapes of pure simpsons (and one with a few South Park eps).

LOL same man, I have a tonne of tapes but you gotta buy the DVD's. The Audio COmmentaries are the best. You learn so much more about the show.

Also, the DVD's may not be around for much longer as they stop making the early seasons on DVD.
