I don’t believe there is any chance in the world they recruit Fifita or someone of that ilk. If they were prepared to pay that kind of money for a back rower they would have kept Kikau.
They have a production line or there….just can’t see them spending anything like that on anyone other than a spine player
That was before cap increases we secured kiks

Despite that they will not buy Fifita unless the tits were paying all but 150-250k.
He has not returned any value on investment, most teams have 1 or 2 backrowers who perform better week in, week out. Irrespective of the salary cap increase they will spend their $$$ elsewhere..

my view on this and the tits have fixed this, is that he is being used wrong and campbell is a ball hog and never passed him the ball. Now with Brimson at FB and foran there, i reckon he will have a huge year

Nothing. It’s next season. He’s owed 0 then
There is no way he has warranted 900k a year, let alone the 1.2 or whatever he is currently on. Canb couldn’t be that stupid could they??

Potential, and even tho he had a down year last year he still showed he was a damaging ball runner. He was probably worth 700-800k before he went to Titan.

SPENCER LENIU
At least three clubs have expressed a serious interest in Leniu’s future has been a talking point for months as Penrith fight a rearguard action to keep him out of the clutches of rivals.
His asking price has soared but there have been whispers that it may have risen too high for Canterbury, the club most often associated with the hard-running Panthers front rower.
As a result, there have been recent suggestions that the Panthers are well and truly back in the frame.
Likely outcome: too close to call

Good “story” the dogs are out because of the price but the Panthers are well and truly back in. In other news the Chinese spy ballon was looking at decent BBQ joints in the USA.
