They get their bowling right and England may get away with a 2-2 draw.

Strauss is in form with the bat, Pietersen loves the challenge vs AUS, Bell and C'wood are reliable, Prior is much like Haddin as a keeper, Flintoff is a dangerous customer, Cook has grown in stature as an opener so the top 7 looks sound. They might stick prior in at 8 and have Bopara or Shah at 6.

Which means 3 other bowlers: Panesar, Harmison, Anderson, Sidearse, Broad

They'd be spewing not having Jones who is a top swing bowler in the Steyn mould.

flintoff got a hat trick overnite
lol i played my grand final last week and one of our bowlers (15 yr old gun rep player and state hockey prodigy) took a triple hat-trick, all genuine dissmissals (top of off, caught behinds etc)

First 5 wickets all out, never seen it b4 in my life. Lol they went from 1-3 to 6-3 in a single over, and were trailing on 1st inngs by 9 runs....that made for some awesome sledging, we got stuck in and said they were 6 for minus 6 :D

Bowling - Mitch Johnson, James Hopes and Hauritz bowled brilliantly.

Bracken got an early wicket and Ben Laughlin showed potential bagging a wicket.

Batting - Clarke only got 1 run and was caught at 2nd slip by duminy off a ball outside off that he could have left.

Haddin played brilliantly for his 53. It was in sublime fashion and hit a nice six down the ground.

Ponting made a quick fire 37 and captained brilliantly.

D.Hussey was ran out by Haddin but looked good for his 18.

M.Hussey made a classy 83 not out and was man of the match. Brilliant to watch and back to form for Mr.Cricket.

Ferguson got the innings back on track with a solid 25. Nothing more than that. Has certain potential.

Hopes and Hauritz played fantastic knocks at the end of the innings to get the score to over 280.

they've made more runs in 7 balls than they did in the whole powerplay in the 40th over!

what happened to Shaun Marsh?
he is still in aus due to his hammy strain he did back in the one day series vs saffas. he has been picked to play vs pakistan in the UAE but is pending a fitness test.

Brett Lee has gone to RSA to train with the boys also and is picked along with shane watson and andrew symonds to play in the paki series.

ponting, clarke and johnson will be returning home and wont take part

they got pretty close considering the top order were going at under 4 rpo and they needed nearly 9rpo in the last 15.

i like fergusson's temperement actually. also, Mitchell Johnson...the way u r going, u will be the 2nd greatest left arm bowler in history mate. 4/34 and bowled b'fully with pace

"Wasim Akram - the greatest left arm bowler the world has ever seen" - Ritchie Benaud.

Theres a video on youtube where he bowls a delivery which swings both ways in the air before bowling the batsman, doesnt get much better than that.

lol that's why i said johnson could be the 2nd best ever ;), i doubt he'll top wasim nor will anyone.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFOjvZaXeQ8 - look where it pitched!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zq0AkcC0f0 - swung both ways

if johnson gets the ball swinging anywhere near to that fashion then it's all over for the opposition
