OFFICIAL | POST-GAME Round 9 | Post game | Bulldogs vs Tigers

It was an excellent idea and whoever came up with is is probably very good looking and smells nice.
It's a ridiculous idea, why severe those conversations for the sake of starting them somewhere else. It's pointless.

I know we won but Casey Badger had a shocker - 4 successful challengers in a game - what a shocker
Most were touchies advising her tho weren't they. Both touchies got sucked in/ (involved) far more than you usually see in other games....usually they are all blind to whats going on.

Positives for me today:
- Winning ugly. Opposite of the Roosters game, ordinary first half but switched on in the second. In previous seasons we lose that game by a lot.
- Kikau. I will keep saying it, we are so fortunate to have him at the peak of his career, he is essentially a perfect footballer, there are no weaknesses in his game whatsoever.
- Burton owned it today, watching him burn Sezer was a thing of beauty.
- Crichton’s best game for us I reckon.
- I love Josh Curran with the fire of a thousand suns.
100% agreed

and to have Preston back is good next week and hopefully Tracey cause he was missed I must say

Some of the sexist language and terms used today on here were disgraaceful and it was clear, by the terms used, it was misogynistic and not based on the refs competency, rather her sex instead. We've had much worse ref performances than that and those thug posters on here did not talk about refs in such sexist harmful insults in the same way.

It's very poor to have the Bulldogs club represented like that on a public forum such as this site and I'm glad some have called it out. More need too.

Especially when aggressive male behaviour towards women is in such high prominence this week. What kind of example is being displayed on here for youngsters who read this hateful language....your sons. Your daughters and wives.

Got to be better.
can’t agree more she coped off it the tigers players and had enough she warned them she did a good job

Jac has always been ordinary coming out of our own end, but he seems to be getting worse I thought when he beefed up in the offseason he would be better but it’s been the opposite. It’s been smothered a bit with Tracy at FB but it’s really noticeable with Taffe back there .
He seemed slow may have been carrying a niggle injury

Three wins in a row, we haven't done that for years!!!
When was the last time?
No need to say anymore.
Except what did Taaffe do wrong today(spoiler, I haven't watched the game as yet)

Six correct captains challenges doesn’t say something to you about the standard of the officiating?
That’s very concerning. That’s only the ones that were challenged also, wonder how many more there were

I thought I read someone
I know we won but Casey Badger had a shocker - 4 successful challengers in a game - what a shocker - and Sezer should have been in the bin.

Yes she did but she should NOT have been officiating in a men’s game in the first place as that is what you get. I don’t blame her.

Abdo and V’Landys are destroying the game.

I think we are no longer a cellar dweller, and probably a solid mid-table competitor. Still work to be done to be a top tier team again. But it's definitely heading in the right direction.

Fill in a couple of weak areas and continue to develop... and we can look forward top regular top 8, and top 4... where a club of this magnitude should always be.
I have a theory about our halves, and I could be completely wrong, but I think he is trying to get as far into the season as he can with Hutch playing as a ball distributor with the focal point of our attack being our edges and sweeping FB plays. I think he will probably change to sexton at some point which will completely change the way we attack, more focused around our halves making us a different side to defend.

Hutch with the pin point grubber. Curran is a beast! Any updates on him? Did he come away with an injury from the grub Jiu Jitsu leg lock by Sezer, or is he good to go?

I stated on another forum months and weeks ago that Women referees should only referee Women’s games.

I’m not having a go at their knowledge of the game but they’re out there with professional first grade men who are bigger and faster than they are. She was totally lost on a number of occasions and I saw her get in the way on at least TWO occasions. It’s not a matter of when but if one of them get severely hurt.

Furthermore frustrations were at boiling point from players on both sides. I don’t blame her for being put in that position I blame the NRL officials of putting her and other women referees in a position they clearly should NOT be in.

Surely after this train wreck today they have to assign men referees to men’s games. It has to stop not only for the sake of the women’s referees safety but for the game and fans who deserve a lot better.
That game wasn't a train wreck. The ref has had some poor games, her game last week was one of them for sure, but relative to other refs (particularly junior ones) she is doing fine. You've stated your position, and that's fine, but just consider that having made your stance you may now be biased into looking for a problem that doesn't always exist, and calling this game a train wreck from a reffing point of view is an exaggeration. The game against sharks was much worse from an officiating point of view.

As has been revealed in this forum she had Gerard Sutton in her ear the whole game, that is a lot for anyone to deal with while they are reffing NRL...

The female refs are here to stay, try to be even handed in your analysis of them (the ref today actually made a lot of good calls, but perhaps you didn't notice), and enjoy our win today.

Not this again.

I am a woman & maybe it's how I was raised. It goes over my head.

Yep, I swear like a wharfie.

I have seen the same language used on the male refs. But no one posts about them.

It's not just aggressive from males, females can be aggressive to men.

Just because they call a female ref a cahunt etc doesn't mean the treat their wife's or GF's like shit.

I find it offensive that there are no safe places for men who are suffering DV, in QLD or NSW.
Someone think of the children. !!

While ever we're getting the rub of the green, she is OK.I thought she had a decent game. The tigers were really testing her. She was getting advised by Sutton and we all know he is a ****
