Unfortunately our team has zero leadership without Thompson in the team.

As has his halves partner all season. Averillo isn’t a half and has been given a responsibility way above his skill set.

In a perfect world a young half will come into the team with an experienced halves partner. Playing behind a pack going forward.

Our forwards have no go forward and no leadership from senior players. Young inexperienced players stand no chance with our senior forwards.

Most teams also will put a backrower as a bodyguard in defence next to the young half. Unfortunately all our backrowers cannot handle their own defensive duties let alone look after other players.
