The trend with all teams now is to have wingers who can help out the forwards with making yardage off or near their line.
JACs main attribute is speed which seems to waning at the moment and at his point in his career and ongoing injuries he will
not regain the speed of yesteryear.
Montoya from what I have seen from him this year brings precious yardage to the table
Yeah, I agree completely with that.
He can also barge over and score a try with that power he seems yo have.

Not sure if it was mentioned already but JAC obviously didn’t play at the knockout, was it his choice or the clubs? If it was the club you’d think he’s not leaving because why would they care, also if he wanted out he could have just played and probably would have got him released on some form of contract breach?
From what I see he will be at dogs at least until end of 25

He doesn't get paid if he does that. Seems the club is trying to help him out for the time being but I doubt he ever plays for us again.

Hope all the ***** wanting to hang JAC out to dry are happy. If he leaves and is replaced by Montoya, it will be embarrassing. Lose a Ferrari and gain an Isuzu. Club going backwards with that sort of move.
Least obvious JAC burner account

Interesting. Just spoke to a mate of mine who attends the koori knock out every year in a work related capacity.

He just showed me a list of names and clubs that is sent out via email pre event.

There were only 20 players in total released by clubs to attend this tournament. Most were nif nuffs and has beens like Naden, Peachey, Laurie, Gagai etc.

I would say at least 60% of clubs on this list including Dogs, Storm, Brisbane were marked as Players Not Released.

He said the punch ups at the event are crazy and most clubs just don't want a bar of it

In around about way it's not just Fox that was not released. Neither was majority of NRL indigenous players.

Also it’s a hard sell for the bulldogs to get JAC off the books in 2025 if he injures himself at the knockout.

He might just finish his last year out that’s the thing who will pay 550k for him he would’ve been taken by now
