The reason he's being released is because he requested it. Him and his wife are expecting their first child and are both from sydney.
 
what’s all this talk about Wilson to Parra? That was squashed months ago

He only had 1 good season
That was 2022.
He wasn't that good in 2023 or any other season

I'm not against him coming back,
But it's a down grade from Addo Carr.

I think Montoya in the short term is better than Skelton .
So I'm still OK we lost skelton to the tigers.

I'm OK with Montoya if he earns his spot in the team
Knowing we have those guys ready to leap frog him when the time is right

Trying to think outside the box. With all the talk of wingers coming and going, I was wondering if Ciro has other plans with Kiraz.
At the moment wing is his position and maybe a shift elsewhere. He has the aggression and kahunas to play in the forwards with added
muscle. If Montoya ends up coming he would definitely take one wing spot and Wilson the other. Cant see Wilson staying if Kiraz and Montoya are gaurenteed run on spots. Just saying.
We never know what happens over the silly season

The trend with all teams now is to have wingers who can help out the forwards with making yardage off or near their line.
JACs main attribute is speed which seems to waning at the moment and at his point in his career and ongoing injuries he will
not regain the speed of yesteryear.
Montoya from what I have seen from him this year brings precious yardage to the table

With our lack of go forward i think he will be a good signing, look at Panthers and Storm wingers, strong, dont get rag dolled. I loved Fox but he and his chicken legs let us down.
 
A quick read of this thread just highlights the fact that so many in here only watch their own team, Montoya has been a quality player for ages, Our club did him dirty not waiting for him to fully recover from an acl before offloading him.

Being winger on winger near the sideline, the linesman would have heard and snitched on him, plus the *** would have made
a complaint. He will cop much more over in England for sure.
