I think I'm getting a Xbox One X for Christmas, is there anyways I can transfer my saved games from the one s to one x?

You should be able to dump them on external hard drive.
Dont forgot ps5 are looking at 2019 release now so xbox 2 may follow. Either way there only 2 years left on this gen consoles
