he was let down by his halfback.
Change the record, dude.

It wasn’t his halfback who made errors and gave away penalties all day. So sick of people just blaming Flano for everything. He tried all day today, which is reflected by him scoring more super coach points than all but two players and any member of our backline. So sick of you guys just blaming him for everything in hands games where there are so clearly worse performers.

Avo whinged for 70min and TPJ put in 40min.
Whinged? He shouldn’t have even been on the field and still showed up for his teammates all day.

TPJ put in plenty of work in the minutes he played. He was one of only 2 forwards to run for over 100 metres, put on some good hits, got through a fair few tackles and popped some great offloads. Had a really good comeback game.

Yeah nah, bit dramatic for fluid in the knee tbh.

TPJ went good but overplayed his hand a few times....

As said, Alamoti and King only 10/10 today.

3 points - King
2 points -
1 point - tpj
3 - King
2 - Preston
1- Alamoti

They're pretty much the only three who can hold their head high with their effort.. TPJ tried and added something with his offloads. Other than that pretty much everyone else was disappointing.
agree with this.

Clearly? I don't doubt the grit of any of our players, but some have displayed the ability to play above their level. Others have failed to make the grade, and halfback is our most critical position. We have shown that even with a depleted side, we have players who can make a bust, but our key man fails to read the play too many times where tries go begging.

Yeh flanno made him kick multiple kicks dead for 7 tackle sets, made him make multiple mistakes and be predictable with the ball. I'm not standing up for flanno, he is ordinary, but ppl thinking flanno is the cause of everything are ridiculous. Burton has generally been bog average at half. He's a great centre who has not made it at half yet.
