2 Jacko - 80 minutes of the best, from one on one steals, to flick passes, to being a cog in back line sweeps that ended in tries, to 150+ run metres, and 14 more tackles than any other player on the team
1 Avo - great involvement, 2 tries, assists, showed great awareness throughout the game, 20 tackles no misses, the kid is improving

Great final game for us from Hoppa. 2 try assists shd plenty of involvement throughout the game.

1. Meaney (I’ve bagged the fuck out of him this year but he was outstanding today, will be interesting how he goes at the Storm, may get limited minutes and will probably have to fill in but kudos today, his best game in Bulldogs colours).
2. Hetherington - hopefully spends more time out wide, has the speed to be a weapon running at outside backs.
1. Jackson - great captains knock, that 1:1 steal right at the end typfifies the type of player he is.

A nice way to finish off a shit year.

Jacko got into the guys and stepped up as a leader and captain today.
Avo played much tougher than he has previously.
Meaney finally showed what he's got..but too late to benefit our club.

Ok.Serious question what did Schoupp do to get 2 though? NO forward rated a mention in your 3,2,1.

Almost 200 run metres, he turned up to defuse the ball on multiple occasions, 85 post contact metres, 7 tackle breaks. He didn't make my top 3 because of defense and 2 errors.

For me heatherington was by far the man of the match,how good is this guy going to be with pangai thommo etc, special mention to wakeham really tried his heart out,not getting carried away with this result but for me I really think we we will b in the top 3 next year

You can make an argument for a couple others and switch around who gets 2 & 1. Overall, it was a nice way to finish a long and frustrating season. Can’t wait to spend the off season looking at the rumours section for all the kennel madness
